Merge

We should remind that this assistant allows to assemble the variables of two surveys.

For the first part 1, go to to the introductory part of the operating mode Combine variables.

2 Select the variables to merge, here we want to merge the occupational status of respondents with their gender  (male or female) for the analyses (for example we wish to make statistics on males who are retired).

3 Choose the method of merging (refer to the dialog box Combine variables).

4 Inform the name of the new variable to create.

5 Choose or insert the new variable. By clicking Finish, the new variable will be created containing the new modalities.
