Comparing-data

Comparing data allows to visualize the differences between the observations of two surveys, on one common variable. Sometimes it would be useful to verify before Merging or Gathering data (functions treated later).

• In the tab Data, click on the button Compare.

You reach a dialog box from which you can load a survey which you want to compare the responses with those of the current survey (In order to make the comparison possible, the two surveys must have at least one common variable).

You can identify the observations either by their number od data entry, or by their key variable, it is about a unique log in assigned to each observation during their creation (locally as well as online).

By clicking Next, a dialog box recapitulates the number of differences detected on the common observations of the two surevys. You will finally have the possiblity to save the results of the comparison in a text file (txt).
