Create a variable from a sub-sample

This assistant allows to create a new variable which values will be the profiles to which the observations belong (for example for a response saved by a French respondent, this created variable will have the value « France » as value).

For the part 1, go to the introductory part of the operating mode Combine variables.

2 Select your profiles from the sub-samples of the survey (refer to the part Use the sub-samples)

3 You can create sub-samples directly from this assistant by clicking 

4 Inform the name of the new variable to create,

5 Choose or insert the new variable. By clicking Finish, the new variable will be created containing the new modalities.
