Multivariate analyses
The multivariate analyses allow to guide the decision process and orient the actions to set up. They are based on different methods through wich they aim for decribing observed facts or explaining studied phenomena.
The descriptive analysis allows to identify the tendencies, to calculate the frequencies and to measure the concentration or the dispersion of responses.
The explanatory analysis is devoted to the crossing of variables iin a perspective of verification of possible associations.
The environment Multivariate analyses is made up of :
1 : a central working area
2 : an horizontal banner containing two tabs (home, Display)
3 : a lateral explorer composed of three windows (Saved analyses, Sub-samples, Languages)
- The window Saved analyses regroups the set of analyses you have made and you wish to keep in the memory of the software. These ones are presented respecting the order of creation, and according to their type : bivariate analysis, or multivariate analysis. For more ease, it is possible to develop/lower the list of saved analyses in type, by clicking on the icon next to the title.
- The window Sub-samples lists the sub-samples allowing, after their building, to visualize the results on a given profile. The icons located above the list allow the management of sub-samples : create, display, properties, delete.
The window Languages allows, in the case of a multi-lingual survey, to choose the language of the customised graphical report. The same view may be visualized in different languages.

- From the home panel,
- Click on the stage Results analysis,
- then Multivariate analysis.
Automatic graphical report
The automatic graphical report allows you to automatically generate graphical reports. Sphinx iQ proposes some models of standard graphical reports which types of analyses are already defined. This functionality proposes to choose your variables to analyze, to choose the tables to place (one-way or cross), possibly elements of layout such as titles to separate your analyses in sections. After validating, you get access to the environment of customised graphical reports and can consequently modify your automatic graphical reports created (by deleting or adding analyses, by modifying the structure of your tables, by adding graphics etc.), or define new graphical reports again.
For more information, refer to the part Automatic graphical report of the tutorial.

Results analysis
The last stage of a survey consists in stripping the responses and preparing the analyses and reports. These analyses allow to identify the general tendencies or the marking facts from produced statistics, and explain the phenomena observed.
The satge Analysis of results proposes four sections : automatic graphical report, customised graphical report, multivariate analysis, textual analysis.
- The automatic graphical reports automatically generate analyses of your data either in their globality (automatic analysis), or to answer defined cases (measure of satisfaction, analysis of an open question, balance of open questions, characterization of a sample)
- The Customised graphical reports allow to create reports of analyses entirely configurable and customisable.
- The multivariate analyses regroup the explicative processings (multiple linear regression, logistics, PLS, analysis of variance), the modelling by structural equations, the classification (hierarchical ascending and k-means) and the methods of synthesis (analysis in principal components, factorial analysis of multiple correspondences)
- The Textual analyses consist in analyzing the open questions by using automatic proceedings (balance of open questions, analysis of an open question), methodological notes provided by The Sphinx to help you in your demarches.
