Insert a specifity mapping

The specifity mappings take back the same methodology as the keyviews, but allow to represent them in a graphical form. We are dealing therefore with the same stages of settings.

In the banner, tab Insertion, click on the button Mapping, then Specifity mapping.

The dialog box Insert a keyview displays. Select the type of pivot you wish to apply to your map : a variable, or a set of modalities. Then, in the list, select the variables to characterize. By default, the characterization is performed by the most specific modalities (over-represented), but it is possible to characterize them in function of the most cited modalities. Once the setting of your specifity mapping is done, click OK to generate it.

Note that it is possible to display the specifity mapping and the corresponding keyview in the same object. For this, in the properties of the specifity mapping (in the banner, tab Format, then Properties), click on the tab Content, tick Table, then validate.
