Sphinx IQ

Definition of objects

A graphical report is a set of objects which give a representation of the responses of the survey via achieved analyses. The environment Customised graphical report of Sphinx iQ involves two big types of objects :

Objects of analysis

It is an analysis presenting a table and/or a graph, achieved from one (at minimum) or several variables. For example, for a cross analysis, the object contains two variables (one in line, one in column) and includes an associated table. If we decide to display the graph corresponding to the table, this one will be added to the object. So, it will be the same object but containing more elements. The modifications of the content of an object are defined via the properties of the object.

Multimedia objects

It is a multimedia element (text field, image, form, sound video, animation flash) which allow to enrich and personalize the graphical report. With a more advanced manner, actions may be associated to multimedia objects (actions of navigation, execution of actions (save, print, cancel, etc.) and become therefore objects allowing to write your graphical report.

The insertion of objects in the graphical report is done via the horizontal banner, in the tab Insertion. A definition box, specific to the object you wish to insert, is opened. For example, the definition box of one-way table will ask you to choose the variable to analyse, however you will be asked to select several variables for a cross or composed table. See the corresponding operating modes for furher details.
