Insert a multiple table (n variables)

The multiple tables allow to analyze groups of closed, scale or numerical questions, in order to identify the tendencies or make the comparisons.

In the case of closed questions (including nominal scales), the table is similar to a cross table, where the questions of the group appear in lines and the common modalities in columns. In the case of numerical questions (or scale treated in number), the questions of the group will appear in lines, and the values in columns could be the averages, medians, standard-deviation,…

To insert a multiple table in your view :

In the banner, tab Insertion, click Cross / multiple table

The assistant Insert cross table is opened. Select the variables of the group of questions to analyze in the list of variables in lines. In the drop-down menu, Column variable, select the first question of the group. Tick the option Group in a single table. Click OK to validate and generate the multiple table.
