To limit to profile
- Case of filter on a view : open the view properties (in the banner, tab View, click on the button View properties), click on the tab Calculate.
- Case of filter on an object: open the object properties (in the banner, tab Format, click on the button Properties), click on the tab Calculate.
- Create a profile : Tick Limit to profile, click Modify, then Define another profile. Put the information on the profile, then validate.
Filter the results of a view or a variable
The filters may also be applied in a view or an object. This function is called Limit to profile and is set in the properties of the view or the properties of the object.
Sub-samples
The sub-samples allow to divide the population in several groups and to generate at the same time the results relative to all the respondents and those concerning particular sub-samples . When a sub-sample is selected, it is applied to the whole graphical report and will be active in all the views of your graphical report.
It is possible to change sub-samples rapidly during an analysis thanks to the window Sub-samples, in the lateral explorer of the environment Customised graphical report.
To create a sub-sample
- In the window Sub-samples of the lateral explorer, click New sub-sample
or on the button - Create the profile defining the sub-sample
- Click OK to validate
In the example above, we wish to create the profile of men aged between 25 and 50 years.
