Merging surveys

This functionality allows to gather the variables of two surveys (if a survey has supplementary variables, they will be added to the survey on which merging is taking place) and merge the observations of identic surveys.

• In the tab Data, click on the button Merge.

You reach a dialog box allowing you to import the survey you wish to merge with the current one. In our case, an individual has answered two surveys (one is about Beverages and the other is about T.V ) and we wish to obtain just one survey regrouping the set of his/her responses.

The fusion is carried out according to the key variable of observations, it is about a unique log in assigned to each observation (respondent) during its creation (locally and online). Each respondent has his own key.

You should indicate the variables of the survey imported you wish to add to the current survey.
