Environment
The environment is composed of :
- 1 a central working area,
- 2 a six-tab horizontal strip (banner) (home, insertion, forms, internet, languages, display),
- 3 a four-window lateral explorer (plan, list of variables, forms, languages, design notes)
In order to facilitate the management of the survey elements, Sphinx IQ proposes two complementary explorers : an explorer to visualize the list of variables and another one to visualize the pages of the form.
To move from one explorer to the other : in the left lateral explorer use the tabs “list of variables” and “plan of the form”:
List of variables | Plan of the form |
It allows you to see the set of variables (questions) which compose your survey. | It allows you to see the questions on the pages of your form. |
This list may be enlarged in the working area thanks to the double-arrow in the upper-right of the window.
Otherwise, the arrow on the upper-left of the window allows either to display only the titles of the sections, or to display the titles of the sections and the related questions. Displaying only the titles of the sections shows a global and synthetic view of the long questionnaires and facilitates their manipulation. A more precise display (section by section) may be set thanks to each arrow located in front of the titles of the sections. |
The advantages :

Points of vigilance :
|
The window Forms shows all the questionnaires created and allows to choose the one we want to work on.
The window Languages lists the different languages of the study which have been defined beforehand (under a multilingual survey)
The window Design notes allows to create comments (recalls, explications...) which you use during the whole construction of the survey.
