Understanding the structure of a Sphinx survey

The Sphinx IQ surveys are made up of several files having all the same calling but with a different extension :

.sphd	The survey answers	Survey.sphd
.lck	Security file the aim of which is to prevent opening one same survey, simultaneously from many computers. It is automatically cancelled when the survey is closed.. lck survey	Survey.lck
.xml	File of the survey configuration in its version online.	Survey.xml

These files are all saved in the same spot (defined during your first saving under Sphinx iQ), in a folder having the same name as a file.

It is recommended not to name these files but to use the function. “Make a copy of the survey” shown in the following rubric of the (teaching) software.
