Combining variables

This assistant allows to create new variables by combining them, following four proposed methods (create a variable from a sub-sample , merge several closed variables, transpose several closed variables, or concatenate the texts of the responses).

• In the tabt Data, click Combine.

You reach the following dialog box.

1 Choose the type of combination, you want to get.

 

• Merge
• Create a variable from a sub-sample
• Transpose
• Concatenate
