Insert a matrix importance / performance
In the banner, tab Insertion, click on the button Mapping, then Importance Performance.
The matrix importance/performance allows to put into perspective for example the satisfaction of the customers with the importance it grants to the different components of the offer of the company. This analysis leads to the production of a matrix where each criterion is set on two dimensions :
- Horizontally : The performance, which is measured by the average of criteria on the set of respondents (average out of 10).
- Vertically : we measure the importance thanks to the « correlation coefficient » of each criterion. According to these principles of calculation, the stronger the correlation between a criterion and the satisfaction note is (close to 1), the more the criterion is statistically linked to the global satisfaction, the more it is important.
Two assistants are opened : Importance/Performance and Compound table :
- Importance/Performance : Select, in the list, the scale or numerical variables which appear in the matrix Importance / Performance. Choose the type of analyses to perform : Correlation with the global evaluation, Rank of the criterion in an oredred question, or Second evaluation criterion by criterion. Choose the options of presentaion of the map (a map limited to the extreme values, or an adjusted and centered map)
- Compound table :The tab table of this assistant resumes the variables set with the previous assistant.
Click on the tab Content. Untick the cell Table, and tick the cell Graph. Click OK to generate your matrix Importance / Performance.
In the example below, the presentation of the matrix has been customised. In the tab Graph in Compound table properties, you can change some basic options of presentation. To go further and change the options of the map, click on the button Map.
In a matrix Importance / Performance, the position of the different criteria according to the axes allows to characterize them :
1 : The progress zone upper left : indicates the important criteria which are not perceived clearly enough.
2 : The large dots upper right : refer to the important criteria for the respondents, and are positively evaluated.
3 : The white zone (or neutral) below left : the criteria are not clearly perceived but they are unimportant.
4 : The zone « over quality » below right : these criteria are well evaluated but they are less important for the respondents.
